JoAnna Robertson

JoAnna Robertson, owner of Blade Resources, serves as the company’s web design specialist and chief graphic artist. JoAnna graduated from Texas Tech University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications.

JoAnna hails from Guthrie, Texas, a small ranching community north of Abilene. JoAnna was raised on several iconic ranches ranging across north eastern New Mexico, through the Panhandle and into the Rolling Plains of Texas. The daughter of a veterinarian and cowboy, JoAnna was brought up immersed in agriculture, working alongside her parents.

During her high school career, JoAnna showed horses in Ranch Horse Association of America sanctioned events, played sports, and was active in FFA and 4-H. However, the majority of her time was spent as an employee of the 6666 Ranch, assisting with veterinary duties, equine repro, yearling sales preparation, loping cutters, and riding fillies.

In college at Texas Tech, JoAnna was an active member of the Ranch Horse Team. She completed communications internships for the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, the Lubbock Apartment Association, and the National Sorghum Producers. She also performed seasonal work for the Lazy E Ranches as a sales technician.

Following graduation, JoAnna joined the Permian Basin Petroleum Association, as the organization’s communications coordinator. JoAnna’s duties included providing safety education, legislative and regulatory involvement and support services for the oil and gas industry of the Permian Basin.

JoAnna is married and resides in Andrews, Texas, with her husband Jeff and their son, Hank.
